I am learning about compound words. They are two words put together to make a new word. Here I am playing my activity of matching the compound words.

"I can match the compound words together. I can play a game and I go "I have strawberry who has teapot". Those are compounds because it is two words that are put together to make a new word. Like straw is one word and berry is another but together it is strawberry and it is a new word and a new meaning to the word too" said Jai.

Writing

I can publish my story writing and illustrate my work. In our big book we learnt about the life cycle of a chicken. Here is my chicken.

 "I made a chicken that shows the life cycle of a chicken" said Jai.
